Based on The Four Things That Matter Most, Dr. Byock’s message is hopeful and uplifting. He encourages health care providers to reconsider how they care for patients facing serious illness and all of us to rethink how we view death and how we might live better lives, even as we consider our own mortality. It’s an important message not just for those in the hospice and palliative care community but for everyone, and we’re excited to provide an opportunity for the public to hear it.
