Position Vacancy – LPN-Volunteer Coordinator

Hospice of Douglas County has been providing compassionate end-of-life care for over 40 years. We are seeking a Full Time LPN – Volunteer Coordinator to serve in a dual role, combining volunteer program coordination with direct patient care in our hospice program.

This position will oversee the hospice volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and ongoing volunteer support, while also performing skilled nursing tasks within the LPN scope during home visits and as part of clinical care.  This position will be a key liaison among clients, families, volunteers, and the interdisciplinary hospice team, ensuring compassionate, timely, and compliant care.

Minimum qualifications: Associates/technical degree in nursing and moderate experience working as a licensed practical nurse. Starting salary range is $28.54-$30.28/hour with earning potential up to $37.24/hour.
