Hospice of Douglas County honors our Veterans. View our hospice volunteer, Veteran Jeff Johnson, and hospice nurse, Joyce Iverson, as they honor our hospice patient, Veteran George Mergens.
Jeff presents a certificate to George, thanking him for his service and sacrifices. He also gives George a beautiful patriotic pillowcase for him to use which was made by one of our hospice volunteers. As we celebrate Veteran’s Day this week Hospice of Douglas County recognizes all of our Veteran patients with a red rose letting them know we appreciate their service to our country.
